Christmas 2015 layout

Hello for the last day of 2015, hope you all have a Happy new year! I made this double page layout last night of Christmas. I love how it turned out. The Merry Christmas title I cut on my Cricut. The little burlap wreaths and 10 things I love about Christmas little embellishment (the 10 things I love are written and tucked inside the pocket) are from Lincraft, they had a 40% off everything sale the other day so I got a few things and the Christmas stuff was on clearance. I also got some bargains from our local variety shop, the washi tape going across the pages, the glittery chipboard embellishments (tree, stars and stocking). The Dec 25th circle was cut from paper and I made some little presents by just cutting 2 squares on my Cricut, wrapping twine around them and making bow from ribbons. The "So many reasons to be Happy" stamp was from the Artistry bundle and stamped in gold ink. Thanks for looking.

Last week with our Bff Ivy

Hello I have a page I made on Miss Ivy. I'm continuing with her album and these photos of when it was our last week in Chicago and Ivy was staying with us, we took her to the park and had so much fun and also in the rooftop park we got a lovely photo of the 3 of us. She was so happy playing with her friends, we miss her a lot but she is always in our hearts.
I used the new Artistry cartridge for the Best Pals sentiment and the border. I made the tag from t his cartridge too and wrote on it with my Cricut pens. I used two wood veneer shapes from a pack I won a little while ago from Jilly bean soup, I used my Distress inks to color them.

I'm back with a scrapbook page

Hello everyone I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and soon it will be new year. I am looking forward to 2016 because It's another year I get to spend with my lovely hubby and we are so looking forward to building our dream house so lots to look forward to and soon I'll be a school kid again lol with my studies starting soon

I have not scrapbooked in ages because we have been so busy moving back to Australia and getting organized and up until today we didn't have a photo printer but now I'm back with a page and I decided to use the fabulous kit Greg got me for Christmas, it was a Bo Bunny Head over Heels kit all love/Valentine themed which is my favourite so for this layout everything apart from the gold stickers (which Greg got me too and were in my Christmas stocking) and the sentiment at the top which is a stamp from the Artistry bundle mum and dad got me for Christmas (stamped in Versamark ink and white embossed on black) is from that kit. I love all types of scrapbooking but I do enjoy a kit as everything is co-ordinated and it makes it a bit less stressful trying to co-ordinate it all and you can relax and just put it all together. I love how this turned out and it was so nice to do a bit of scrapping again. I look forward to my next page.

Not a card or scrapbook page

Hello I was wanting to pretty up my dressingtable a bit so I used my Cricut and a photo frame to make this little Inspirational frame for it. I used the Cricut and my pens to do this. I used the Intricate Quotes cartridge and drew it with the black pen. I then used my colored pencils to color it in and frame it. Very Easy but a nice way to dress up my dressingtable!! Thanks for looking.

Some blackboard/chalkboard stuff

Hello I made some little tags for Greg's presents tonight I used the chalkboard look, by stamping in Versamark ink then embossing with white powder and using my heat tool. I used markers to color in some of the images. I went around the edges with white ink to make it look like a proper chalkboard. For the card I added some decorative tape I had in my stash and stamped in black. Thanks for looking.

Tea Box

Hello I made this little tea bag holder for Christmas for my Aunty Joan. I saw an idea on another blog and Greg helped me design it on the Cricut Design Space, it turned out great and it holds 7 tea bags. I made a label on the Cricut and used my red pen to write the sentiment. I used a stamp set I got a long time ago for the cup and tea bag. I cut another cup out of a scrap of patterned paper after I inked in black ink. It turned out cute and is ready for mailing with a little box of soap I made.

Anniversary Card

Hello Happy Saturday I made this card last night for my mom and dad's anniversary coming up in January. I saw an idea in the new Quick Cards Made Easy Magazine it had folded over corners and peek-a-boo cards so I made one like it and folded over the corner and put a heart sticker there. I used Artistry to cut the mason jar vase and flowers I love this image. I also used Artistry to cut the label and write with my Cricut pens. Thanks for looking.

Christmas chocolate boxes for the table

Hello I made these little treat bags on my  Cricut tonight, they are from the Anna Griffin Sophisticated Soiree's Cartridge. I also cut a label from my new Artistry cartridge and used my Cricut pens to write the tags. I added some wooden buttons I've had for a long time in my stash and then I filled them with Lindt Chocolates. I just did this for the photo. But on the weekend we are going to each get a little chocolate gift to put in as a surprise. Thanks for looking : )

Birthday Card

Hello I made this card last night for my Aunty Joan whose birthday is a January birthday so I had my new issue of Quick Cards magazine that I subscribe to on googleplay and they had some nice ideas with tea cups so I was inspired by that and made this cute card. I'm going to send it to the magazine's letters page as who knows I might win a prize : ).

I started with a yellow card blank then added some floral paper. I added a mini doiley and then I used my Cricut to cut out the tea cups, I actually squashed the cup a bit in design space as it was more like a mug so I made it look more like a teacup. I cut 2 in orange patterned paper and one in glittery yellow. I cut the label from my Artistry cartridge and used my Cricut to write my greeting. I added Peachy Keen faces to two of the cups (I think Peachy Keen are wonderful face stamps!). I then cut two flowers and used my yellow distress ink to color them and used my hole punch to cut out the centres using a scrap of the glittery yellow card. Thanks for looking.

Ivy's 3rd birthday card

Hello Happy Friday I made this card tonight for Ivy's 3rd birthday coming up in January. I asked mum and dad if they could get me the new Artistry cartridge for Christmas and it's a digital one and I saw this cute dog on it and asked mum I could use the image now and not use any of the card or stamps that came with it just the digital images and she said of course I could so I was so excited to use this gorgeous dog. I made her look like Ivy and drew some black spots on her. I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face. I added a crown and a cute bone border as well as writing the sentiment with my Cricut pens. The crown was cut from a scrap of gold paper I had and I added some gems. I think the adorable Miss Ivy will love her card, thanks for looking.

Snowman card

Hello everyone I made this cute snowman Christmas card tonight. I was looking the other day for a homemade eye make up remover recipe and I came across a blog and it turned out the blog belongs to a friend in America Amy that I knew years ago. I emailed her to say hello and she emailed back so I thought I'd send her and her husband and her baby girl a card with a wintery theme. I cut everything on my Cricut then used a Peachy Keen face stamp to stamp the face, these are always so cute! Thanks for looking.

a little stocking filler for Greg

Hello I made this cute little box for Greg with hot chilli and cocoa tea bags in as a little stocking filler. I cut the box on my Cricut and the little Chilli on the front. I added a Peachy Keen Stamp face to make it cute and added a little greeting. I think it turned out really cute thanks for looking.

Birthday card with a different fold

Hello everyone Happy Saturday, hope you are having a nice weekend, we are having a nice weekend it's hot and sunny here in far north Queensland and today we have been out to Port Douglas and Mossman and done the food shopping and stopped for a frozen yogurt and tonight we are putting up our Christmas tree so that will be fun.
I made this card for Greg's mom's birthday it has a different fold in it, I saw it in my Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine so I thought I'd try it, it turned out so nice I added some patterned paper to the card and also stamped on the two outer folds with purple ink. I went through my stash and found these daisies and butterfly which I've had for a long time but they were the perfect addition to this. I stamped the greeting as well. Thanks for looking.

Christmas tree table decoration

Hello I have been making a Christmas centrepiece for our table over the past week or so. I got a Polystyrene cone from Lincraft and then set to work on my Cricut cutting out all the leaves. I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge and cut the leaves in two shades of green at 2". I found I ran out of the card halfway through so I had to get some more the next time we were in Cairns. Greg had a great idea to put the tree on a "stand" so we found this cute red glittery basket in Lincraft 50% off. I also got some tinsel to wrap around. It took a while to hot glue all the leaves on but so worth it. I also made the star in two shades of gold on my Cricut from the 3D ornaments cartridge and this was hot glued on. Now I just need to find our Christmas table runner in our room of boxes and it will be complete. I'm so proud of this and Greg loves it too.

Pink Christmas tree card

Hello Happy Friday well Friday is almost over here and I'm looking forward to the weekend, grocery shopping and maybe some pool time tomorrow then some Christmas shopping in Cairns on Sunday. We've been at the block today playing with concrete, it was another good day of getting things done in preparation for our house : ).

I made this card last night for the neighbours we have met on the one side of where our house will be. They are nice and so I thought I'd make a card, not to elaborate but a nice one all the same. I made the colors non traditional for a change with pink and lighter greens. I used my Art Philosophy cartridge for this card with the cut out trees and I put some striped paper behind it. I added some gems to the trees and used my flower/star punch to make the stars out of a scrap of glitter paper. I used my Cricut pens to write my greeting. Have a nice weekend.

Christmas Wreath

Hello everyone, I have my wreath to show you for our door this year. I started this a few weeks back before our shipping container arrived, I wanted to have something fun to make whilst I was waiting so I got a Polystyrene wreath form and some burlap and set to work. The burlap is cut into 4 x 4 squares and then glued and twisted into a bubble then pinned on. I got some lovely wire edged ribbon from Spotlight and made a bow from that. I found a box of baubles at my local Woolworths and hot glued those on. I wanted to make our wreath in a Christmas yet beachy theme as we live near the beach and I couldn't find any starfish or shells in the shops so my very clever husband suggested I get some FIMO and use one of his cake decorating molds and make them, genius. So tonight I decided to finish it, to be honest I'm exhausted, Greg and I have been at our block working the last two days in full sun heat digging but I wanted to finish it so I made my FIMO starfish and shells. Two of the shells are actually two shells from our block of land that we found whilst digging, they were in perfect condition so I took them home and washed them and glued them on so now we have a bit of our future home in the wreath. Thanks for looking.

Another Santa Card

Hello I have another card today that I made Friday night, only just getting around to putting it on the blog now, been busy on the weekend and today Greg and I were busy working on the block of land getting it ready for the retaining wall to go up. It's very hard work but I'm also very proud as I wasn't sure I'd last out there in the heat shovelling dirt but I did and I make a great team with Greg.

Sorry about the shadow on this, I made this one using the same CTMH stamp set. I randomly stamped the HO HO HO stamp in Green Distress Ink all over the background then used my Cricut to cut out the scalloped circle in green then a plain circle in white to which I then stamped. I used a star from another stamp set to stamp gold stars around Santa and I colored him in. Thanks for looking.

My wonderful craft room

Hello here are pictures of my half of the study (my craft area), Greg did a great job of getting this together for me. In the first photo I've since moved out the 4 small red boxes, it housed A4 size card and I've put all that paper in the drawers shown in the second photo. I have 2 desks, one is a working desk and the other is a desk folded down and it has my Cricut and my laptop so I can flick between the two desks. It's been fun organizing it all and nice i have somewhere to craft now. Once the new house is all built our shared office/craft room is going to be even better with even more space and storage, can't wait for that one but for now I'm really happy with my little half room here!

My first card in my new craft room

Hi there from my new craft room. Well it's actually a room I share with my lovely husband and his office but I am so happy about that I'd rather be crafting and in here with him than in a room on my own. I will have a picture soon of my half of the room. Greg has come up with some wonderful ideas to maximise the space in here and has built me sets of drawers and my desks we got from IKEA before we left the U.S. I've been enjoying organizing it all and putting things away. But today I got to make a Christmas card and it was so much fun. I used a red card base and then embossed the green layer. Last time we were in Cairns I went to Lincraft and they had 40% off the store so I got a bargain. I used my new Close to My Heart (Reindeer Bells) stamp set for the sentiment and the Santa. I used a holly border punch on some gold glitter card and a red sticker border. I added some glitter pen and white glitter to Santa after coloring him with pencils. Thanks for looking and it's nice to be back : )

Cards for the Caring Hearts Card Drive

Hello everyone I am back with some cards. I made these for the Caring Hearts Card Drive this year. I used to do this in America but this year they have someone in Australia collecting the cards to send to Nursing Homes so I was really happy to hear that as I really enjoy being able to take part in such a nice cause. I was wondering originally if I would be able to take part because all of my crafting stuff is still on it's way to us in our shipping container and will not be arriving in time but I didn't let that stop me. I am doing a couple of cross stitched cards but besides those I am doing some papercraft ones. I went out and bought a small craft mat, a ruler, a craft knife and some basic supplies. I am lucky to have a good variety store in the town near us and I was able to get a pack of cards and envelopes as well. I got some stickers and peel off stickers at the bigger craft shops in Cairns and I came up with a great idea for the wreath card. I knew I had some green yarn in my cupboard so I thought why not make a wreath so my lovely husband cut a circle out of some scrap cardboard like in a donut shape and I wrapped the yarn around it all the way around and I glued on some sequins and made a red bow to which I then glued that on the card. The other ones are stickers and peel off stickers. I'm pretty proud of these considering my limited range of supplies and I know that whoever gets my cards will have some Christmas cheer! : )

Hello I'm back!

Hello everyone I'm back on my blog! I am all settled now back home in Australia and although my craft stuff is still in shipping (hopefully it will arrive at the end of October) I have done a bit of cross stitching which was nice. I found an ornament kit in my stuff so I have been enjoying doing that, I finished it tonight and all it needs is a bit of ribbon to go through the hanger and it's ready to hang on the Christmas tree in a couple of months. It's been nice to do something crafty at least and this turned out well. Next is my Christmas wreath, I bought some things to make one with the other day when Greg and I went to Cairns, I can start it but again need to wait till my stuff arrives, although my wreath is going to be great it's going to be a Tropical Christmas themed wreath so looking forward to doing that. Bye for now.

Valentines Card for Greg

Hello I made this card last week. It's very early for Valentines cards but I wanted to have one made just in case as our shipping container will take 3 months, that will be November but with all the stuff to do with moving into our house, getting our plans made for our own house and everything else I wanted to have one made. I'm pretty sure I will be all organized in my craft room in the rental house by then, we got some great Ikea storage yesterday that I'm so excited to put my things in and I'm sure I'll be back papercrafting by then but I feel better knowing I do have a card for Greg. If I do get time to make another one, Greg will just be a lucky boy and get two : ).
I used a pink card base then some heart paper, I cut a strip of pink and embossed it and inked around the edges. I cut my cupcakes on my Cricut and added some Peachy Keen stamp faces (I love these!) and I used my Cricut to write my sentiment and onto a banner. I added some red heart gemstones to finish. Isn't it cute? Thanks for looking.

Hoo Roo Card

Hello I made this card over the weekend for our friends Tanya and Ivy, she has been giving us a card a week mostly thank you and we will miss you cards which is so nice so I decided to make them one back. We are having them over for dinner on Sunday and we have a lovely card and gift to give them but this is just an extra one to take around today. I had this lovely little set of Aussie stamps I got ages ago at Lincraft I think and this was perfect for this. I just cut a pink square card and then a dotted layer. I cut a white circle out and stamped and colored in the Kangaroo with colored pencils. I love that little Kangaroo on his bike, thanks for looking.

Thank you Card

Hello well here I am again I won't be on much soon because just getting things done for our move but when I do get a spare moment I may be able to get in my craft room. I had a card to make as a thank you for one of my clients Alex who very kindly has organized a little get together for our leaving which I thought was very nice. So on the weekend I got her a gift of some tea and also some beautiful chocolates. there is a new chocolate shop open on Michigan Ave and they had some beautiful chocolates so I got her some of those. To go with the gift is a card I made today on my Cricut. I also used some Spun Sugar distress ink around the edge of the layer and some cute Peachy Keen face stamps, I just love these they just make everything so cute and happy. I used my Cricut to write my greeting as well. Thanks for looking.

Thank you Card

Hi, we are getting closer now to going home and so now with our rental house all organized (such a lovely house too), I decided to make a thank you card for the Real Estate Agent who helped us with securing the house all via email. We also found out that she will be our neighbour when we build our house as her block of land is opposite ours. So I made the card in a tropical theme as we'll be in a tropical place. I started with a green card then an orange layer. I then stamped in Versamark ink on a white layer and embossed with white powder. I then went over it with 3 different colors of Distress Ink. I cut a banner on my Cricut and used the orange pen to write my greeting and the flower. I then went over that with Green distress ink and did some faux stitching around it. I think it turned out lovely and colorful and maybe we'll have some flowers just like this in our garden soon.

Wedding Card

Hello I'm back on my blog I've been away for a bit busy now we know for sure our sale is going through so been very busy with that and the dog walking and everything else as well as enjoying the sun when it's been out. I made a wedding card for Hayley today, I've had it sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks. I started it and did the inside first which was a piece of striped vellum and stamped. For the outside I found this lovely cute design on Pinterest so this is not my own idea and I won't take credit for an idea that isn't mine. I made it in classy wedding colors and I found some lovely embossed paper the other day at Joanns so I got that. I did however use my Cricut pens to write my sentiment on the car. The car with the couple in is from the Sweethearts cartridge and like the card I saw, to make it more "weddingy" I added a little bit of tuille as a veil.

Baby Gift

Hello Happy Saturday we are having a nice weekend, an especially nice one as we got good news yesterday regarding the sale of our apartment and now we can start planning to go back to Australia and lots of exciting stuff ahead for us especially building our new house by the beach.

Anyway one of my clients I walk their dog Hana, the couple that own her just had a baby boy today so I had already made a card but I decided to make a little gift to go with it. I'd seen some baby gifts on blogs using the fry box from Cricut. I decided to fill mine with little baby socks, I fit six pair in there which was great. I got these whilst out shopping today, I was pretty sure it was a boy from the way the nursery was decorated and I guessed right so I bought the right socks. I made the fry box at 11.5 inches on the Cricut and I also cut a scalloped tag and wrote with my Cricut pens. I also cut a cute blue teddy bear and used a Peachy Keen Critters bear stamp face and used some enamel dots for his buttons. I love how this turned out, just a small gift but a nice thought. Thanks for looking, have a nice weekend.

I go bananas over you

Hello I made this card as a surprise for Greg this morning before I go out to the dogs. We've been waiting yet another week to see if our sale will go through on our Condo and we still don't know, we're pretty tired of all this now and it's stressful on so many levels. So I made this card for Greg to brighten his day, what better than a tropical banana with a smiley face. I told Greg in the card that this banana came all the way from Cooya Beach to say hello to him. I cut the banana out on my Cricut and I inked around the banana with yellow Distress Ink. I did the little banner on my Cricut with my Cricut pens. I especially like how the glittery banana peel looks. Greg loved his card, it's on his desk. Maybe this little banana will be an omen for us that we will get good news today : ). Thanks for looking have a nice weekend.

Ivy's 2nd Birthday

Hello I have another layout for Ivy's album today, this is a double page  layout I did for her 2nd birthday. Greg and I made her a cake and she loved it, she didn't get to eat it all at once even though she would have liked to!

The pages were cut 8 x 8 and I used my Cuttlebug and Circle dies to cut out the photos and layers. I used my Cricut to write my journaling and some other die cuts I had in my stash. Thanks for looking.

Friends Furever

Hello I made another page tonight for Ivy's album, this one someone took of us near the Christmas tree farm last year, Ivy was so cute in her winter coat and I love this photo. I used some of my nice Christmas papers. I've been saving some but I think I may as well enjoy using them. I cut the lights on my Cricut and the Friends Forever title I got for 50 cents from Miss Kate's Cuttables. I added a candy cane sticker as well. I really like how this one turned out. Another nice page for Ivy's album.

an Ivy layout

Hello again I've decided to try to get some more done of Ivy's album, I put it aside for a bit whilst I finished all my cards and the Italy layouts. We've got so many wonderful pictures of Ivy that her album will take a while but that's ok. I actually got more pockets to extend my album on clearance at Joanns a couple of weeks ago so I will have plenty of room in her album. She is such a darling girl and we've known her since she was a small puppy. When she was a puppy she loved to go around picking up junk in the street, we always used to joke she should work for the Chicago streets and sanitation, she would have been a good little worker for them lol. I cut an 8 x 8 page from striped paper, then I used my Cricut to cut the file folder square. I cut some scalloped squares a bit bigger than the photos out of the scraps of the striped paper and inked the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink Picked Raspberry. I also used my Cricut and black pen to write my journalling. I got the title out of a paper pad I got ages ago and the border was from a pets stack Greg got me a while ago I love using that for Ivy's pages, look at those little bones! I added some enamel dots, a joy brad and a wood veneer paw print. Thanks for looking.

Birthday card

Hello I made this birthday card this week, I got this new stamp set from Michaels on Saturday with my 40% off coupon, I thought the little mouse in the nutshell sailing along chilling was so cute. I started with a pre-made blue card then a white cloud embossed layer, I then went over with my Blue distress ink. I stamped my image and cut with circles, I find this easier on my Cuttlebug and my Circle nesting Spellbinders so I can line up the image correctly. I colored in the little mouse with pencils and added silver gel pen to the clouds and the water. I punched a scrap of green with a scalloped punch and stamped my greeting and added a silver border. Inside it says "Have a mice birthday" very cute, thanks for looking.

You are Pawsome

Hello hope you had a nice Tuesday, we had a lovely sunny day here we went out for a walk this afternoon and it was lovely to have some summer sun together after some storms lately.

I made this card for Ivy and her mom Tanya. We are most probably leaving soon (although we still don't have 100% surety yet) but we are going to be very upset when we say goodbye to Ivy. We love her to bits and she has grown up with us since being a tiny gorgeous puppy, now she is a gorgeous big Great Dane and I get to see her usually 5 days a week a few times a day usually and Greg always comes with us on our afternoon walk and we play ropes and go for walks to the lake and play treat game, all lots of fun things the three of us. We will really miss her but we have lots of wonderful photos and memories and we will always love Ivy, we just wish we could explain to her that we have to leave now but we will always think of her and love her, we hope in her little dog world she will know that. It would give us great comfort to know she is not sad, but she has lots of people that love her and of course the Fido Treat Truck. She's even inspired us to get our own Great Dane one day, they are such beautiful dogs and we will have our own puppy to love and train called Zoe.

So this card is for Ivy mostly but as Tanya is her mom she can give it to Ivy. I saw the idea in a magazine for the saying I just love it, instead of awesome it's pawsome and Ivy sure is pawsome. I cut the card on my Cricut and cut a circle out of the front I added a fancy frame and some circles in the middle then a pawprint to which I added glossy accents to make it raised and glossy. I used my Cricut pens to write my greeting and cut out my label and added ribbon. We bought Ivy a special toy to play with for when we leave and I'm going to make her a big batch of "Miss Lindsey treats" that she loves and we'll get Tanya something too. Hope you like my card.

Baby Card

Hello, Happy Sunday I hope you had a nice weekend, we had a nice weekend : ). I don't make many baby cards but one of my clients (I walk their dog Hana and they live on the floor above us) they are expecting a baby in early July, I don't know if it's a boy or girl so I made this card in unisex colors. I started with a white card, added a star patterned paper layer then I embossed a yellow layer with a stars embossing folder. Then a smaller white layer, I rounded all the corners on all pieces. I cut the pram from the New Arrival cartridge and added some grey ribbon, some tiny punched hearts and pearls to the wheels. I hope they like this card I think it turned out cute.

Fabulous Florence

Hello I had chance to do a layout today of when we visited Florence, Italy last year. I used my Cricut pens to write my title, they come in a pack now with different tips and a craft friend of mine found some in her Michaels and kindly sent me them so I was glad to try them out. I used them for the title and the little saying on the right hand side which reads "Oh darling lets be adventurers". I used my Cricut to cut out the "Ciao" and used some wood veneer embellishments and stickers for the rest as well s using ink around the edge of the page and the adventurers saying.

Greg's Christmas card, probably my most favourite card

Hello I have what is probably my most favourite card I've made so far, completely my own idea with no real ideas from anywhere. I made Greg's Christmas card now because I think at this stage I will be too busy nearer to Christmas. I've had this card waiting to be finished for a few weeks, I just had to find some mini candy cane stickers and I did yesterday at Michaels. I made a long card and then the next layer was white I used two different color distress inks in blue to make the sky. I cut some grass and a clothes line as well as hangers. I cut out a bikini, a Santa jacket and some board shorts as it's Christmas near the beach. I punched out some flowers and added some gems and the candy canes and wrote the sentiment with my Cricut. I think this is so cute and perfect for a warm Christmas. Not your traditional Christmas card but just perfect for the theme I wanted and I know Greg will just love it. Thanks for looking, have a nice day.

New Home Card

Hello Happy Sunday, its warm but stormy here but we're going out in a minute so nice to go out and enjoy our day. I'm looking forward to our treat later, frozen chocolate mousse sandwiches. I made some chocolate biscuits from scratch and we made some frozen chocolate mousse so we'll cut out rounds of the mousse later and sandwich them between the cookies yum! I love cooking and baking with Greg, I will be even more excited when we have a much bigger kitchen.
This is probably a bit early to make this card as we still don't have the final approval on our Buyers finance but we're meant to be by the end of this week, we REALLY hope all is ok and we are sure it will be. So we're going to give her a bottle of fortified wine from Australia when we leave so I made her a card to go with it, just from scratch and on my Cricut. I added some American ribbon with the colors and I think it will be a nice touch to go with the gift. I think maybe if I made this in advance and carry on as if we will sell our apartment all will go well. Positive thinking!!

Dessert on the go

Hello I think I have almost finished my Italy layouts now but I will go and check my albums. I made this one of when we visited a little dessert shop called Pompi in Italy that we were recommended, they had all these flavors of Tiramisu that they put in a little box to take away. I think I had a Hazelnut one and it was delicious. Greg doesn't like Tiramisu so he had a Cannoli. We sat near the Spanish Steps and ate these. I used my Cricut for most of it and some stamps as well. Thanks for looking.

Ice cream happy summer card

Hello I made this card this afternoon for my friend Claudy who is sick with a summer cold/flu at the moment so I knew I had this cute ice cream paper to use so I made her a get well/cheer up ice cream card. I used a pre made yellow card and then used the Cricut to cut my layers and the cute ice cream. I used my score board to make the lines on the cone and write my greeting. I used one of my Peachy Keen faces to stamp a face and used some white gel pen to accent and some glossy accents on the cherry to make it shiny. I put the ice cream on 3D dots. Thanks for looking.

Vatican Layout

Hello Happy Wednesday, I have a layout I did yesterday of our visit to the Vatican in Rome last year, it was wonderful to visit and we took lots of photos but these are a few of the best. I kept my page simple, I like to scrapbook with not too many embellishments, just my way and to let the photos be the star. I had some Rome papers to use up as I'm almost finished now so I used those and cut a bible from my Cricut. Thanks for looking.
