The last couple of Christmas cards left now so I thought I'd upload a pic to my blog. I love both of these but the lights with the little faces in are so cute! Hope you like them!

Mexico Scrapbooking
I've had this page on the go for a few days now I've only had chance to finish it today. It's my first page on our trip to Mexico in October. It's of when we were painting our ceramics by the pool. I used my Cricut Design Studio for the lettering which I joined together and stamped the little flip flops and coloured them in. I used a fabric flower as a finishing touch.

Woof it's Christmas
I made these today, I got them done this morning and just finished them now after coming home from the gym. These are for my dog walking clients, I've made more exactly the same. They turned out really cute and I am really pleased with them. I made cards out of some cinnamon cardstock and then matted some green dot paper on top. I stamped "Happy Happy Happy Holidays" onto that and used my Cricut Sampler cartridge to cut out the little kennel. I used Joys of the Season to cut out the tree. I used some little stamps I found that I had bought a while ago and it was a cute set of small ones and it had a dog face in it so I stamped that and coloured it in and cut it out and put the dog in the kennel (the one looks like little darling Ruby). I put a wreath button on the kennel and decorated the tree with gemstones and a star. I also stamped a bone from the set and cut that out and added a gift sticker. These cards are going to go with the tins of dog treats for the dogs and the hot chocolate envelopes for their owners.

Mojo Monday #214
I decided to take part in the Mojo Monday #214 challenge using a sketch they have provided. I've never took part in a challenge before but it was fun! The challenge is to use this sketch to make a card, so I made this card tonight whilst Greg was finishing off some work. Hope it turned out ok with the flash on the camera. I used a red card blank and matted it with some starry paper. I cut out the circles and the rectangle using my "George and Basic Shapes" cartridge and matted those together. I used a scrap of glitter card to cut out the banner piece and added some stripey ribbon across the top. I stamped on the white rectangle using the little Penguin from my Penguin Pals set of stamps (I love these as you can see I've been doing a lot with them lately!) and a sentiments from an old Hero arts set of stamps I had. I finished the card by using a Prima paper flower, a snowflake metal embellishment and red brad in the corner. Hope you like my card!
Carolling Penguin
I'm almost finished on my Christmas cards now, so If I have time this week I'll try to do a couple more cards for the Nursing Home residents. This one is a long card with some music paper as the background. I used this as the cute little Penguin is singing carols and I had a scrap of it sitting in my scrap box so it was perfect! I cut out the scalloped circles and regular circles using Winter Woodland and also the tag at the top. I stamped the penguin, coloured him in and cut him out and then stamped the sentiment. I punched holes in the tag and wound some green bakers twine through it and arond the card. I used white gel pen to put dots around the scalloped circle. I love these little Penguins they make winter seem like it's not that bad : )
Christmas pudding
I made this one yesterday, I have been really busy today so I hope I can start another one but we'll see. I used a red card, matted it with some starry paper and cut out a plum pudding on my Joys of the Season cartridge. I love the plum pudding but I was surprised to see it on the cartridge as the cartridges come from America and plum pudding is not all that popular here it's more of an English/Australian thing. This card was really simple to do as then I just stamped my sentiment on the bottom, added a holly glitter button and some Gingerbread man ribbon.

one more for Cards that Care
I made this last one for Cards that Care, (see earlier post) using stamps and my Cricut. The little Penguin is so cute! I'm about to go and put them in an envelope to send away and walk around to the post office with Greg ♥. Hopefully I'll get some more time to make a couple more, if not I'm glad I got to do these 3 and make 3 older people happy this Christmas!
Cards that Care
I made these cards for Cards that Care. You can click on the link to find out more but it's basically making cards for elderly people that are lonely in nursing homes over Christmas. Two bloggers that I follow are organising it and I think it's a lovely thing to do as everyone wants to feel like someone cares about them, especially at Christmas. I don't have any Grandparents anymore and I especially miss my Nanna a lot so I thought I would do something nice for someone else and hopefully brighten their day. So far I've made two, I'll see if I can make a couple more today but for now these are two I have made. I already had some card blanks and I decorated them using my Cricut as well as my stamps. I used some self adhesive ribbon on the winter one and I used my mittens nestabilities to cut out the felt mittens. I'm looking forward to sending them off and anymore I make this week : )

Warm winter wishes!
This is one I made this afternoon. I really love this Winter Woodland stamp set and I can combine it with cuts on my Cricut so it's really nice. I had a Guacamole green bazzil cardstock base that I cut on "Just because cards". I also cut the scalloped border with this. I used my "Fabulous Finds" cartridge to cut out the oval tag to which I stamped "Warm winter wishes" and threaded with some candy cane bakers twine and adhered to the back. I then stamped my branches onto some brown card stock and my little owl and gorgeous little mouse onto white. I coloured in the leaves on the branch in green and coloured in the little animals. I used some glitter pen to accent the leaves and on the little creatures. I added a snowflake button to the top and some snowman red ribbon to finish. Inside I stamped Merry Christmas as I want to send this one as a Christmas card but as the theme on the front is more wintery it was perfect to stamp that inside! : )
3D Christmas tree
I made this card this morning before the afternoon got busy. It's a green square card with a striped green mat cut from Just Because Cards. I cut out the scalloped border from the same cartridge. I then went to my Storybook cartridge and cut out the spotted oval. I used my Christmas tree stamp to stamp the tree 4 times on green gingham cardstock. I cut them out but cut out layers of each part and layered them up with foam blocks. I curled up the edges using my stylus tool and added some glitter pen around the tree for some sparkle. I cut out a label from the Just Because cartridge and stamped "Happy Holidays" on it then went around it and dotted it with white gel pen then I added some adhesive green dot ribbon and finished with a red button tied with bakers twine.

Christmas Smooches
I made this card for Greg, I had actually made him a card a couple of months ago but when I got this stamp set I knew these 2 little Penguins with the mistletoe was perfect. I made the card from "Just Because cards" and matted it with some green and white dot fabric paper, it's adhesive backed fabric, I found it on clearance at Michaels so I got a sheet. I matted a piece of snowflakes paper onto red and then matted the stamped image onto some more red. I coloured in the image and added some glitter pen to the girl Penguins necklace and the boy Penguins scarf. Before sticking everything down I tied some red ribbon around the dot paper and tied on a locket heart charm I already had in my stash and finished with a bow. I used my "Winter Woodland" cartridge to cut out the scalloped circles and stamped Christmas Smooches on the white one. I had to use 2 different stamps for the sentiment but I just joined them together on the clear block. I used my white gel pen to dot around the green circle and finished with a holly button. I really think Greg will love this, ir's so cute! ♥

More treat envelopes
I finished these this afternoon, more of the treat envelopes for the mums and dads of the dogs I walk, I might have to make a couple more though as it looks like I may have another client on the way! I used the same template and just used my Cricut to cut out items or my Penguin Pals stamps and some Christmas ribbon.
