another Christmas card

Hello I've got another Christmas card to share today. I really like how this one turned out with the diamond shapes. I cut squares on the Cricut and then embossed two of them with my Holly embossing folder and one of the layers I used some Ho Ho Ho patterned paper. I cut the Santa on my Cricut and used my Cricut to write the sentiment. I went around the white parts of the Santa with glitter gel pen. Thanks for looking.

2 more Christmas cards

Hello I've got two more cards I've been working on, they've been a WIP (Work in progress) sitting on my desk for a few days but I finished them tonight after I did some studying. The first one is very cute, I just randomly stamped my Santa on white and then a trend now is to just color in one so I did that and he stands out nicely. I added some gold stamped stars too and some little gifts and matted the white onto a patterned piece. I stamped a greeting as well. The second one is a very simple one, some of them are simpler than others but nice all the same. I covered a card in patterned paper and then added the tree die cut and stamped my greeting in green on the bottom. Thanks for looking.

Candle Christmas card

Hello I am making some of (or probably most) of my Christmas cards before we move into the cottage then the house especially the overseas ones in case I don't get chance to. So I have been wanting to make a Christmas candle one so I used a top fold craft cardstock card and then added a green layer. I used the Versamark ink to stamp a greeting which gives it a watermark look. Then I had a red circle scrap left over from another card and I added my candle and some faux white stitching with a gel pen. Thanks for looking.

Card for Gemma

Hello I've been working on a birthday card for our future little next door neighbour Gemma, she came over and introduced herself to me and then Greg later on the other day she told me how much she loved the new home card I made for them and she has kept it in her room. She also asked if they would get a Christmas card this year and I said they definitely would get one. So given that she likes my cards I've made her a special birthday card for her 11th birthday on Saturday. I've seen these around but the die to buy for them is $45 so I managed to buy an SVG cut file to do it for a lot, lot less. The card originally was a Christmas card but I omitted the wreath and made it into a birthday card. The panel on the front I put through a balloon embossing folder and then inked with my Distress inks, the rest are coloured papers and the Happy Birthday die cut is from the Cricut. I think Gemma will love her spinny card. For her gift we've given her a crafty goodie bag with a cardmaking kit and lots of bits and pieces to make some cards of her own. Thanks for looking : )

Two cards

Hello I'm back with a couple of cards I made. The first one is for my friend Claudy, just a general friendship card. I had some black flower peel off stickers and I watercolor painted inside the stickers on some watercolor paper and then just added a red layer and a black card, I love how colorful it is.
The second one is for my friend Christina, she is going through a bad time at the moment. Her dad is very sick and they just found out that he has a brain tumour and she has been looking after him as her mum is no longer alive so I just made her a thinking of you card. I bought this new stamp recently I love it because it's a tropical hibiscus flower which we see around here and it's my second favourite tropical flower. I used colored pencils to color them in and a stamp sentiment on the bottom. I'll post these off tomorrow. Thanks for looking.
