I got a little stitching tool at the Scrapbooking shop a week or so ago and I was dying to try it out. I bought it mainly for scrapbooking but I thought trying it out on a card might be nice for my first try. It took a bit of working out where to put the holes but Greg gave me a hand (lucky me ♥) and we got it right. Then I spent time hand sewing all the stitches which was very relaxing. After that I stamped my image onto white. I went into Michaels after the gym and got this stamp for $1 so I was really pleased. I then cut out my image using my Cuttlebug and my Nestabilities and also a larger pink one for the background. Then a strip of pretty butterfly paper and a 2 butterflies layered together using my Cricut. I love how this card turns out, I know who I"m going to give it to (can't say here!) because I know they will appreicate all the time it took me to make it (stitching takes a while!!) but I loved it!
