Birthday card
I also made this card tonight using some more of the stickers from the sheet I bought at the variety store. I really like these. This time I put the stickers on scraps of white card and apart from the glittery bits that came on the sticker I colored in with colored pencils and cut them out. I added 2 thin silver borders and a banner at the top and I stamped Happy Birthday. It's quite glittery and turned out really nice.
Treats with friends layout
Hello I have got so many Ivy photos to scrapbook that I decided to continue on with the album, I had started a 8 x 8 album which is almost full so I thought given the amount of photos we have I'll start on a 12 x 12 album. I did this page on when we dog-sat Ivy for a day and we took her to the dog bakery near us and she just loved it. I did leave her with Greg when I went in the bakery and she barked a lot lol, she always barked when one of us left she loved to have us both with her, she is such a sweetie we miss her all the time but we'll have wonderful album or two to look through. I used a orangey yellow cardstock and a very cute piece of dog paper I had in my stash which I cut in a scalloped circle. I used the Cricut to write on a die cut bone and also on a label to the side. The base layer of the label is actually from a paint swatch. I like to recycle! Before Greg through them out after we'd selected our colours I said for him to give them to me as I would recycle them! The Yum sign is cut on the Cricut and the cupcake is actually an outline sticker I got at our local variety store (they have a great craft section for a small town!) and I stuck this on some hot pink, I love how it looks. Thanks for looking.

a layout
Hello I"m back with a layout tonight that I made. I decided to scrapbook the photos of when we recently went for a drive to Cape Tribulation which was such amazing scenery and not far from where we live so I thought the photos were so nice they should be scrapbooked. I used a blue background then cut a blue patterned paper in a triangle across the top. I went through my stash and found 2 nice chipboard flowers and a chipboard heart. I also found some little tag sayings that I've had for ages so I used 3 of those. The "beautiful" wood veneer word is from my stash and I did my journalling on the Cricut. The title is made of some puffy stickers that Greg found the other day at our local variety shop. When I saw them I thought they would be ideal for this layout. Thanks for looking.

little Easter basket
Hello I have another little Easter project, this one I made for Greg for Easter. I cut the basket from the Artiste cartridge in green and I had a nice scrap to use for the handle in my box. I added some ribbons on the side. The basket die cut is a freebie I got from Miss Kate's Cuttables. I cut a banner and then used my Cricut pens to write the greeting. I made the "grass" myself with our shredder out of green paper then yesterday when I was at Coles I found the perfect size Lindt Easter Eggs for the basket. Thanks for looking.
Easter 2006 layout
Hello I was going through my photos last week and I came across some Easter photos from 2006 so I thought I would scrap them with Easter coming up and all. They are really nice photos so they definitely should be scrapped. I started with a plain blue cardstock and then cut 2 scalloped squares one in Easter paper the other in purple, I cut the purple one in about half and just used the bottom half. My friend Kim in California has used photo corners on some of her layouts and I was inspired to try some too so I cut some cute flower ones on the Cricut. Everything else is cut on the Cricut too, except for the brad on the Easter egg. The little rabbit tag has a story attached to it. I said to Greg that we should see if we can go to the Ozcare nursing home in Port Douglas at Easter to see some of the residents and take them some little cellophane bags with Easter eggs in them so I made up some tags but then the Manager was very nice and emailed me back and said they can't accept food from anyone that isn't family or works at the home and I can understand that but he did say that I can register as a Volunteer if I want to go and spend time with them and help the Diversional Therapist with activities. I thought that once I've finished my studying and got my business started I might do that, I might even get to do a little fitness class with some of the residents and when we get Zoe we can take her along too as they allow pets to go there. Who wouldn't love a gorgeous Great Dane pup?
Since I wrote this post I saw that the local animal shelter in Port Douglas needs volunteers for walking the dogs and giving them a bit of happiness so Greg and I are going to do that when we can, they said you can take the dogs for anything from 20 mins to a few hours so we could take them for a nice walk. Every week we buy some food with our grocery shopping to go in the collection bin they have at the supermarket. They also need cat blankets knitted so I might start one soon.
Anyway so I found a good use for one of the tags anyway. This turned out really nice, thanks for looking.

Easter Card
Hello I have one last Easter card that I made. I have a nice story to tell. I've got a blogging friend who I've kept in touch with (she lives in California) and she always comments on my blog and I've watched her lovely craft videos she puts on YouTube with lots of good ideas. Anyway I emailed her to say hello and I told her that I could no longer have my Cricut Subscription with access to every image because Cricut only allow users from the U.S, Canada and U.K to subscribe. So I was not able to renew mine and I was upset as I can use all the images on the cartridges I have as they are mine but I can no longer use ones that I don't have. I did tell Cricut I was not happy and they said they may include Australia in the future but not right now. So I was telling Kim about it and how I was just going to use what I have and she was so kind and offered to let me login to her Cricut Design space as she has access. I just thought that was so kind. So thanks Kim I really appreciate it. So tonight I took her up on her kind offer and created this card as I don't have this cartridge, it's the Simple Cards Holiday cartridge and I loved this bunny card so I cut that out and then cut a gingham layer for the background and stamped my greeting and then used a small flower punch to make like a collar for the bunny.
I'll have another 3D item that I used from my Artiste cartridge next week that I made for Greg I just need to get some "Easter grass" from the shop and some treats!

Valentines 2016 layout
Hello I haven't done any scrapbooking in a while as we needed more ink for our printer so last week we got some and I was able to scrapbook this page last night of Valentines Day. I think it turned out nice. I used papers out of a kit Greg bought me for Christmas from Bo Bunny. The papers, border and Be Mine title are from that kit. The Forever is a chipboard piece I got from my local variety shop and I used my Distress Ink to color it. The heart sticker and the sticker at the top I got from the Reject Shop. I added some pink lacy tape and a gemstone border as well. I like how this one turned out : )
