Gift box for Greg
Hello again, I have a box I made this afternoon to hold Greg's gift for Valentines Day. I made the box by hand not on my Cricut, I saw a YouTube tutorial from Pootles Papercraft she is a U.K Stampin Up demonstrator and had a good little box she made so I made it and it was easy to do and turned out so cute and was just the right size for the gift. I used a scrap of patterned heart paper for the box and then stamped the heart in gold on white and cut it out. II punched a hole in the top added red love ribbon at the top in a bow and a peg and red heart. Thanks for looking today.

St Mark's Basilica
Hello Happy Saturday! I finished these pages this afternoon, I started on them during the week and finished them today. This is continuing on with our Italian holiday from last year, we visited St Mark's Basilica in Venice and it was really wonderful. The whole square was wonderful but I will do separate pages on the other buildings we visited. I had the perfect paper in my stash I had a European pad that I got ages ago from Paper House Productions and it had these two sheets in there it reminds me of church and places of worship. I then cut some brown borders for the bottom in brown using my Martha Stewart punch, the pattern on the punch works well with this I think. The Font is from Nursery Rhymes, the label is from Sentimentals and I used my Cricut pens to write on the tag. I added a washer and a brown brad to finish. The enchanting sentiment is from Quarter Note and the Cross is from New Testament. I really like how this turned out, nice and simple but effective. Thanks for looking today.

Anniversary Dinner
Hello I'm continuing with our Italy pages, I bought this piece of scrapbook paper recently because of the title on the page and I knew it would be perfect for our photos of our anniversary dinner in Amalfi, Italy last year. We still talk about it now and we really had a fabulous evening there and it was a once in a lifetime event for sure and now we will have a beautiful page to remember it by.
The paper is perfect as I said it is from Karen Foster Design. Greg bought me the Cricut Formal Occasion cartridge for Christmas so I used the heart and the Dinner for two sentiment from this cartridge. The metal saying is a really old one from my stash but I came across it the other day whilst going through my stash and I just loved the words, so did Greg when I showed him and I kept it aside for such a special page. I used some Kaisercraft cork embellishments that my mum sent me a while back and did my journalling on the computer. I put the journalling on a tag from Artiste. Thanks for looking.

Mum's Mothers Day Card
Hello I have another card today that I made for my stash this year, this is my Mothers Day card for my mum. I saw the idea in my Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine for an Easel card. I cut the card by hand and didn't use my Cricut to do that this time. I added layers of patterned paper. I cut a banner from Art Philosophy and used my Cricut pens to write my sentiment. I think the scalloped rectangle is from Elegant Edges but I can't remember now sorry. The bouquet is from Mothers Day bouquet. The butterfly is from Creative Cards. The flower centres are done with Enamel accents. Thanks for looking.

Mothers Day Card
Hello I'm back with another card I have decided to make a lot of my cards for the year in advance because once we sell our apartment I may not have time to make them so in order for the people I like to make cards for to get them I'd like to have them ready.
I made this one for Greg's mum for Mothers Day. I am so pleased with this one. I was looking through my Papercraft Inspirations magazine that I subscribe to from the U.K digitally and they had a lovely card in there using acetate as the front. So I was keen to have a go. I cut a piece of kraft brown cardstock 5 x 6 inches, I scored at 1 inch from the top and folded that down. I then cut a piece of 5 x 5 acetate and glued that to the underside so the front panel of the card is acetate. I added a strip of kraft card along the bottom and used a butterfly punch (Martha Stewart). I added some ribbon around the bottom of that. I stamped Happy Mothers Day in Versamark ink at the top and embossed with white powder. The stamp is from Close to My Heart. For the middle I cut 2 rectangles and then stamped butterflies (Unity Stamps) in Versamark and then white embossed. I noticed that the white embossed on Kraft card is a trend lately so I've followed this trend : ). I stuck the rectangle onto the kraft card so it wouldn't show through the acetate. I added 2 small gemstones and stamped a sentiment on the back which is where I will write on the card.

Valentines box for Greg
Hello Happy Sunday, hope you've had a nice day, I helped Greg finish installing our new shower screen it looks good and another job off the list before we list our place to sell.
I made this box over the weekend for Greg for Valentines Day. The box was tricky to put together as there was lots of pieces but it turned out good. I got it from a new SVG shop that has opened up online called digiplayground.com and they had a cute heart box on there to buy so I bought it and used my Cricut Explore to make it, it turned out lovely. I will put a gift for Greg in here and/or some homemade chocolates. On top of the box I used a conversation heart stamp I got at Michaels last year and embossed it with white embossing powder and heat set it. I added some dots with a white gel pen and some heart gems as well as some ribbon around the side. I love Valentines Day and everything hearts so I look forward to giving this to my Valentine : )

Birthday card for Uncle Roy
Hello, I have a card today to show you taht I made for my Uncle Roy who Greg and I think is great, we don't get to see him very often as he lives in the U.K but we did get to see him in October and we had a lovely time at dinner with him and some other family members.
He will be 76 in February but he still is fit and healthy which is a good thing. I used a blank card from my stash which was a patterned one. I then used my Cricut Explore to write my sentiment on some navy blue card in a white marker. I cut Uncle out from the Heritage cartridge and I can't remember where the star border was from, I went back to try and find it in my Cricut library but can't find it..sorry. Anyway I like how the card turned out, thanks for looking. I'm going to enter this in this weeks CardzTV challenge here

Rialto Bridge
Hello I have another page from our Italy trip to share today. This is of the Rialto Bridge in Venice, it was such a beautiful old bridge right on the Grand Canal. I bought some paper the other day from Scrapbook.com as they had some nice Italian themed papers. This one was perfect for these pictures, it is from Paper House Productions, they make nice travel themed papers and I love this one. I kept this page simple as the design on the paper is too nice to cover up. I used Everyday Fonts - Best of Times from the Cricut library for the title and the Italy oval is from the Destinations cartridge. I placed a plan oval underneath from Art Philosophy and used my Cricut pens to write my journalling. I used a little Italian flag from a sticker set I got from Michaels (Recollections).

Ivy's birthday card
Hello Happy Hump Day Wednesday I like hump day because it means that it's getting closer to the weekend and that means I can spend more time with Greg always a bonus.
My most special and darling client Ivy is going to turn 2 next week, we've known Ivy since she was a tiny pup now she's a big Great Dane but has stayed gorgeous and she is a sweetheart. I asked Tanya if we could make her a cake and she would love us too, so besides this card Ivy will be getting a special dog friendly cake made by us next Tuesday.
I really like how the card turned out. I used my Cricut Explore like always and the card is from the Bits and Pieces cartridge. I actually shaved a tiny bit off so it will stand up but I like the shape. I cut this from blue then cut another one in striped and just used one piece of it. The cute dog that looks just like Ivy is also from the same cartridge and the hat is from Celebrations. The speech bubble is from Artiste and I used my Cricut pens to write my greeting. I had some cute dog ribbon in my stash so on went a bow. Thanks for looking.

Funny birthday card for Uncle Rick
Hello I have a birthday card today to show you, it's for my Uncle Rick, he has a good sense of humor and appreciates funny cards so I thought this one was perfect for him. It's completely my own design. I made a 5.5 x 5.5 card in the Cricut Design Space. I added a light blue layer on top and stamped Happy Birthday. I can't remember which cartridge the speech bubbles were from but there are a few in the Cricut library. I used the Cricut Craft Room font and then used the "slice" feature to cut the words out of the bubbles. I added a strip of scrap paper down the side and some blingy tape on top. I also made an envelope (not shown) using my new Envelope punch board it makes making envelopes so easy and I have a lot of patterned paper to use so I used a coordinating sheet. Thanks for looking and have a lovely day.

First night in Venice
Hello I'm now onto my Italy pages this is my first one from the first place we visited - Venice. I liked these photos of our dinner on our first evening there, we found a lovely little restaurant in a quiet part of Venice and we were the only ones there so it was perfect, we sat outside and enjoyed some lovely pizza and a dessert. So I decided to make the title of my page from the song "That's Amore" by Dean Martin, I think it was perfect as it was a nice romantic restaurant and we were eating pizza : ). I used the Cricut craft room font, the flower is from French Manor and then glittered in yellow and the journalling tag was from Artiste and I used my Cricut pens to write it. The "pizza" is just a circle cut many times with the pieces stuck around a circle. I added a button, heart button and chipboard banner all from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Bourton on the Water
Hello Happy New Year! I haven't made anything since before Christmas because firstly my Cricut was sent back as a part on it was broken so they sent me a new one, I got that on Wednesday so I'm back on board now. Secondly, I was busy busy busy with Greg packing boxes here and slowly getting ready to put our apartment on the market in we hope Spring so lots to be done but here and there I will get some scrapbooking done I'm sure. It's very exciting though and we so look forward to our move back to Australia and leave snow and winter behind as well as a big city.
Ok so onto the scrapbook page I am continuing with our recent U.K/Italy trip and this was our first day in the U.K with my Aunt and Uncle we went to another lovely little village in the Cotswolds area called Bourton on the Water. The village had a river running through it was so nice. The paper was from a recent stack I got for only $5 from Michaels and it came with the saying down the bottom. I thought it went well as the village was charming. Greg bought me some American Crafts Galaxy pens for Christmas and there was a great white one in there so I used it to write my title I used the Cricut Outline font for that. The label was from Art Philosophy and I used my Cricut pens and Explore to write my journaling. The cute little duck is from Campin Critters. The ice creams are from Michaels and the clips and brads are really old ones I've had for ages in my stash. Thanks for looking.
