Cable Car Ride

Hello Everyone it's been a while since I posted anything here I've been really busy helping to train a new puppy Ivy and busy with the gym etc so I have had no time to craft at all but that's ok as I'm really happy being busy and the busier I am the soon Spring will come and I can enjoy it with Greg!
I finished off a page this afternoon that I started ages ago of San Francisco and the cable cars there. I kept it simple as the photos were the main star of the show : ). I used the Cricut Craft Room font to cut out my font and used a Jolee's cable car sticker and a sentiment sticker from my stash. I had some Little Yellow Bicycle stick pins in my stash too and I popped a couple of those in amongst the photos. Hope you like my page! Not sure when I'll be posting anything else hopefully soon : )

Easter card

Hi  everyone, I haven't been around on my blog much lately as I haven't been feeling very well and really run down and tired so I haven't felt like making cards or doing my scrapbooking,. I've done a bit of knitting though as I find that I've been able to do that easier when I'm so tired. Anyway I did want to make a card today for one of my oldest friends Melanie as I got a wonderful bright and cheery Cross stitched Easter card from her today it was so cute with a little bunny and his basket of eggs, it really brightened up a rainy day here so I decided to make a card for Melanie. I am struggling with inspiration at the moment but I do like my card and I know she will, the little pink bunny is quite cheerful and also the flower embossing folder and punch I used remind me of Spring which we are so looking forward to! So I will mail this to Melanie tomorrow, have a lovely weekend, I am looking forward to spending it relaxing and feeling a bit better with my lovely hubby Greg.

True Love

Hello, Happy Monday! I finished this page this morning before I go to the gym and work hard with my lovely husband, I actually started it last week and did a little bit more yesterday morning before we went out so it's been a work under construction. This is my last of my Valentines Day pages, I had to do a page on the wonderful dinner Greg cooked me. I started with pink cardstock then cut 2 scalloped squares from Art Philosophy in 2 different patterned papers, I don't often take a lot of notice of the products I used as I just use what's in my stash or what I love but the red heart sheet is a Doodlebug sweet cakes one and I think the other one is a Basic Grey one. I cut the title from my Victorian Romance cartridge. I added various stickers and even used the little be mine tag I had put on Greg's little Koala card that I put on the breakfast table that day. Some of those sentiment tags are Jillybean soup labels and I love the one that says Love you More as Greg and I are always in competition with who loves each other more : ). There are also some Recollections buttons on there as well as a love pin I found a packet of My Little Yellow Bicycle ones at Michaels on Saturday. I used a Fiskars stamp for the sentiment on the pink frame. Greg got me these when he was in Massachusetts for a bargain from Joann's, I love them. To finish I added strip journaling that I did on Publisher, hope you enjoy my page.

You take the cake

Hello I have a Valentines Day page today I took a break from California scrapbooking as there are so many lovely pictures still to scrapbook I was getting a bit overwhelmed so I decided to do my Valentines Day photos and then go back to California. I recently bought a sheet of combo stickers from the Bo Bunny Love Letters collection. I've had my eye on these for a while purely because of the sticker I used on this page (You take the cake) as I knew it was perfect for my cake making hubby. So I started with some red holographic cardstock I got from Michaels, a bargain at only 29 cents. Then I added 2 strips of patterned paper, this is actually the same sheet of paper as it was doublesided, it was an oldie but a goodie of Doodlebug sweet cakes that I've had for a while, again I was saving it for Greg's cake photo. I added various stickers on the page as I loved the sayings. I cut my balloon from Create a Critter as it matched the balloon on the little fondant bear Greg made for the cake, I added some white twine for the string. For the label I cut this from Holiday Frames and Tags and printed my journaling, I used a large heart punch as well on the tag. I added some ribbon and a pink staple and two heart pins as well as a strip of the same ribbon Greg used on the cake down the bottom. Valentines Day is probably my favourite thing to scrapbook and I love this page as I love the photo of Greg and his amazing cake.
