little Creme Egg Chicks

Hello Happy Sunday! I have some more little knitted items I've made recently for Easter. I may do a couple more things when I have time although I would like to scrapbook my Valentines pages soon but we'll see how I go. I saw a pattern online for little knitted chicks that hold a Cadbury Creme Egg (the bottom of the chick is left open to put the egg in). I got some cute little goggly eyes from Lincraft the other day and some felt for the beak. I added some bows around their necks. They are very cute and we love them, thanks for looking.

knitted Easter baskets

Hello everyone, it's a bit long time no blog! I don't have papercraft for you today I've got my cards under control at the moment and wasn't able to scrapbook as we ran out of ink for the printer. We got that yesterday so on the weekend Greg will fix that. I did feel like doing a bit of knitting last week, I don't need to knit here as we don't need woolly clothes or accessories so my knitting mojo wasn't really there but I did see these little Easter baskets to knit so I thought I'd try it and I'm so happy with the way they turned out, they will go on our Easter table. I'm making one for a friend in Germany too as she loved it so I thought I would make her one for her table. We got some eggs yesterday whilst out shopping, Greg and I had to test them to make sure they tasted ok : ) and they did. I hot glued some little bows on the outside. I made something else too I just need to finish them when I can so look out for that soon. Bye!

Mum's Birthday Card

Hello another card, this one I've been working on for a week or so just when I have time, so tonight I had time to finish it. I made this for my mum for her birthday in July, she loves cats so I thought this was perfect. I used a card from my Cricut library it's nice with the hole pattern and I added a pink shimmery layer underneath. I cut the cat and speech bubble on my Cricut and used my Cricut pens to add the greeting. Thanks for looking.

Easter Card

Hello! I made this Easter card tonight I had one more to make it's for my Aunty Julie and Uncle Rick in England. I found the image on the internet free so I printed it out and cut the circle out on my Cuttlebug and colored in the image with pencils, it's so cute isn't it? There are lots of great images on the internet all for free so I do like looking for them. I used a dark pink card and a patterned pink layer and I rounded the corners. I added a blue strip and stamped the greeting and added some paper tape which looks like lace, I love this, I got it from the local variety store in Mossman they have lots of good little bits and pieces in their craft area I love to look there and see what they have and the prices are great. I added a silver border as well.

Cute birthday card for Greg

Hello I made this birthday card for Greg tonight I had it ready to go designed on my Cricut Design Space and tonight I had some time so I wanted to get it made now even though Greg's birthday is not till May. I wanted to be organized so now I had a bit of time to do it before the house starts. So the theme of the card is a cute little builder bear and I came up with this idea because soon we'll start Owner Buildering our house which means we'll get trades in for some things but we'll be doing things ourselves like helping to be labourers for some of the trades to keep costs down and also putting up most of the frame ourselves so I thought this was ideal for Greg. I made the Easel card on my Cricut just by welding two squares together and then putting another square on half the card so it stands up. I used my Cricut to cut the banner and write my greeting and the tools. The little bear I bought as a set for $1 from Digiwebstudio as a jpeg file so I used the print and cut feature on the Cricut for that. I added some black enamel dots to finish. I love how this turned out and I'm sure Greg will as well.
