Hello only one week till Easter I am looking forward to Easter here with Greg and his fabulous cake as well as my dinner I'm going to cook and some chocolate of course!
I some boxes to give to my clients I don't give them all one just a selection of my best as a nice gesture for Easter. I made the boxes by hand with my Envelope Punch Board so no Cricut for this one except for my labels on top. I put some Easter ribbon around the boxes and the boxes each hold 3 of the mini Lindt Easter Eggs.

Fathers Day Card
Hello I made this card this afternoon I thought I would make some of my years cards in advance in case we sell soon and then it will be crazy days!!
I made this one for my Dad for Fathers Day and as he and mum like cruising and Dad likes to wear Hawaiian shirts I thought this was the perfect card. I got the cut file from www.myscrapchick.com for only $1 so it was a good buy. It's such a cute Easel card and I was lucky to have a perfect piece of patterned paper in my stash for the shirt. I stamped my sentiment on the banner and put that on 3D dots. I added some white buttons on the shirt from my stash. I embossed the white layer with a striped embossing folder. Thanks for looking.
Cards for the Share Joy Campaign
Hello again I had some time this morning and decided to make a couple of cards for the Share Comfort Share Joy campaign at Taylored Expressions, you can see what it is here
I think if you do something nice for someone then maybe it will go full circle and good things will happen to us too and it doesn't take a lot of time to do this so I thought I would.
I used my Cricut Explore for all of these and a punch and a border sticker on the bottom card.
Thanks for looking.
Cinque Terre
Hello Happy Thursday, I've been MIA for a few days, I didn't have a craft room and Greg didn't have an office for a day as Greg has repainted it and we've moved things out and around to make it more appealing to buyers, it looks wonderful now, so bright and spacious. We worked as a team getting everything organized to paint then Greg painted it and now it's great. I have my craft desk back up and running, I found I missed it yesterday but when people come it's easy to just put my things into the wardrobe in there and voila it's a big room again!
Anyway I had been working on this page and I decided it was finished and nothing more needed to be added. This is of when we visited Cinque Terre in Italy, it was absolutely wonderful and we had such a great day there. The views, the food, the scenery and best of all the company. Thanks for looking.

Easter basket card
Hello from a snowy Chicago, we've had a fair bit today but it looks to be stopping now and it looks like Spring will return this week so it's not so bad. My friend Melanie said she has posted my Easter card today and I remembered I hadn't made hers yet so I made this one this morning. I used a spotted card from my stash, then I used my Easter Egg embossing folder to emboss the next layer. I cut a fancy label on my Cricut and used my pens to write the greeting. The basket I got as a freebie SVG file last Friday from Pretty Paper Ribbons and I'm glad I got that. I've like how that turned out and I hope Melanie likes it too, I'm looking forward to Easter now and thinking of good things ahead and making something nice for Greg for Easter so nice things to think about, Have a good day.

Flowers Birthday card
Hello I thought I would try to make a few more cards for birthdays etc during the year in case we sell our apartment soon and things will be quite busy. I made this one for my mum's birthday. I saw a lovely card made by a lady in the U.K on YouTube and she made flowers look "Velvety" by using a white ink pad around the edges of the flowers and it really does look like velvet, so pretty. I also like the different fold on the card and it looks like the flowers are cascading. Thanks for looking today.
Simple Easter Card
Hello I have a really simple but I think nice (as does Greg) Easter card, I've not been in my craft room this week much been busy and too tired really but I made this card mostly out of scraps and I just didn't' have much mojo but at least I could come up with something and I'm sure the recipient will appreciate it. I started with a blue card and then added a strip of clouds paper (a scrap I had from a My Minds Eye 6 x 6 paper pad). The circle is another scrap cut from a yellow patterned piece. The butterflies are punched from a small butterfly punch. The cute little bunny and her cart of Spring flowers is from a MFT stamp set I got recently, colored in with colored pencils and the Happy Easter sentiment is from a Recollections stamp set I got ages ago. Hopefully soon I will have some other projects to show you, have a nice Thursday!

Lindt Chocolate Shop
Hello Happy Friday! We have a lovely sunny and warmer day here today so we're looking forward to later going out with Ivy to the lake for a walk, it's so nice to get out and walk after such a cold winter.
I have been doing this page over a couple of days I was too busy yesterday to finish it but I did this morning. This is of when Greg and I visited Florence in Italy and found a Lindt Chocolate Shop, wow it was amazing so much chocolate of all types and the best hot chocolate ever we did some shopping and enjoyed the hot chocolate whilst sitting outside the amazing Duomo in Florence, really wonderful memories.
I started with dark brown cardstock then added a layer of striped paper and a heart layer. The striped paper was from my stash, the heart one was from a Valentines pack I got from Michaels and then the layer on top was from the Naturals Stack, I liked this one with the foil accents it reminded me of a chocolate bar wrapper. For everything else I used my Cricut. The title is a print and cut from the Cricut library from "Word of Mouth". The Coffee cup is from Love you a Latte, the chocolate bar is from Nine Months but I contoured the image and removed the writing off the front. For my Journaling I thought it would be cute to do it on a chocolate truffle so the truffle is from my Artbooking cattridge, again I contoured it so I had just a plain background and I used my Cricut pens to write my journalling.
I'm going to send this to my blogging friend Kim, she's started a new blog called http://www.cricuteers.blogspot.com/ and we can send photos of what we make and she'll put them on her blog so we can all get some ideas and inspiration and see what everyone is making.
Thanks for looking and have a lovely weekend : )

Venice
Hello another Italian layout today this one is general pictures of our visit to Venice. I bought this paper especially as well from www.scrapbook.com. It already had Venice printed on it, I cut the moments part on my Cricut Explore from Wall decor and the tag is from Spring Fling. I used my Cricut pens to write my journalling. I added some alphabet stickers to the bottom for the date.
Pisa
Hello Happy Tuesday, it's beginning to feel a bit more early Spring-like around here, not as cold, sunnier days and longer evenings. I think us Chicagoans (in our case temporary Chicagoans) deserve some niceness after our yukky winter. I heard some birds chirping in the trees yesterday when we were playing with Ivy, the leaves aren't back on the trees yet but they will soon. It was nice to play with Ivy with Greg and hear the birds, simple things are best.
Anyway I made this page yesterday I seem to be doing well with my scrapbooking lately my mojo is here lets hope it continues as I would love to do more pages and get them documented. This one is our trip to the Pisa in Italy, I have always wanted to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and it really did surpass my expectations it was so amazing and we got to climb it too. I got this paper especially for these photos, I can't remember who made it but I did get it from www.scrapbook.com. I used one of the free Cricut fonts to cut my letters. I used Bits and Pieces to cut my little tab at the top and I added a wood veneer accent on top of the title. I also added a Leaning Tower of Sticker I got from an Italy pack at Michaels. I really didn't add too much extra to this page as both the photos and the page itself are the stars. Thanks for looking.

soccer buddies
Hello whilst Greg and I were moving some things into storage yesterday I came across Ivy's 8 x 8 album I'm working on, I haven't done any for a while due to time and doing other things but I went through it and saw that I had half finished this page so I decided to finish it this afternoon. I had already cut the white background sheet then the slightly smaller scalloped square. I got the soccer title and soccer ball cuts from Artbooking. Buddies is also from Artbooking. I did my journalling on the computer and my blogging friend In California Kim was so kind and sent me some dog themed papers after I commented on one of her lovely layouts recently so I used some of the papers she sent me. I cut a border out and also a paw print which complement this page beautifully. I just love this photo of Greg and Ivy, she adores Greg (what's not to love : ) and I love how she is looking up at Greg. Thanks for looking.
Christmas 2014
Hello Happy Sunday! Hope you had a nice weekend. We have been busy most of the weekend doing things around our apartment making it even more gorgeous so the perfect buyer will come through and buy it! Greg is doing a wonderful job painting today, I wanted to help but there isn't really enough space so whilst Greg is being a wonderful hubby and doing the painting I thought I would scrapbook a Christmas page from last year. I love how this one turned out, I love traditional Christmas colors so I kept it in that theme. I used green for my base and I cut a strip of the lovely retro type Santa paper which I've had for ages, it's an Anna Griffin one and I love it, I cut this with my scalloped scissors. I cut the title from Artbooking and the 2014 is from Days and Dates. I wanted to find a Santa and gifts that looked like the gorgeous cake Greg made but couldn't find the exact one with him holding gifts so I cut a Santa from A Quilted Christmas then found some stacked gifts in the Artbooking Cartridge. I added some gel pen on them to look like bows. The stockings were cut from Winter Frolic. I added some cute little badge stickers I got from Michaels a a while ago to finish. Thanks for looking, have a nice week.

Amalfi Coast
Hello I decided today to do anohter scrapbook page on our trip to Italy, this one is of the Amalfi Coast. We spent our anniversary driving along the coast (as well as doing a fabulous cooking class and a romantic dinner in the evening before driving back to Rome). The scenery was so wonderful and picture perfect, I was so glad to have got to see that with Greg. It was hard to choose just a few photos but I think these ones really are very lovely. I used a dotted patterned paper for my base then a white layer. I used my Cricut pens to journal directly onto my white paper, it's so great being able to do this. I added another piece of red floral paper, I bought a stack a long time ago from Marshalls by Pebbles called Front Porch, it has some nice pieces in there. For my frame I used a frame from the Cindy Loo cartridge and the Smile sentiment is from Create a Critter. I went around this with silver pen and did faux stitching. The title is cork alphabet stickers I got from Michaels recently on clearance and the self adhesive ribbon was from my stash it's quite an old one but I love to go through my stash and see what I can use. I love how this one turned out and it's nice to think of memories of such a wonderful day together.
Handbag gift
Hello Happy Thursday! I made this cute little handbag from my Artiste cartridge yesterday for a gift. It holds 3 mini nail polish and it turned out very cute. I cut the bag from a pink animal print cardstock and then added some trim from my stash as well as using my Flower Shoppe catridge to cut out my flowers. Thanks for looking.
