Valentines gift box and tag for my sweetie ♥

I was really excited to get started on my Valentines Day projects. Now that I have my craft room it's much easier for me to start things and finish them when I can. However I had some time today and managed to get a tag and box done for Greg for his Valentines Day gift. I made the box from my Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge out of some great double sided paper I bought a while back. I put some xoxo ribbon around that. For the tag I used my Accent Essentials cartridge to cut that out in white and matted some striped paper on top. I used the same cartridge to cut out the black and red/white dot doily flowers. I then used my new Martha Stewart stamp set I won off Ebay to stamp a red lacey heart onto some white which I cut out. I then used black ink to stamp I ♥ U on top of that. I had some nice ribbon with "to hold dear: Cherish" on it so I used that on top. I love how it turned out, I'm looking forward to giving that to Greg on Feb 14th!

Santa Box

I made this one tonight, it's a variation on the Reindeer one I did yesterday, but just as cute. Using the Sweet Tooth Boxes Cricut cartridge I cut out the red cake box and then used my Doodlecharms cartridge to cut out the Santa face. I used some googly eyes and then used some of my liquid applique on the moustache which I heated with the heat gun to make it all puffy : ). I then used some black and white adhesive ribbon and I went through my stash and found a cute little buckle for Santas belt. I think I will tie some twine around it and put on a tag but I don't have any treats yet to fill it but I'll get these on the weekend ready for Santa to deliver at Christmas!

Reindeer Treat Box

This morning I had some time so I decided to make this little treat box. I saw inspiration for this box on another blog and decided to have a go myself but try something different. I cut out the triange cake box from my Cricut Sweet Tooth boxes cartridge, I cut this out at 5.5 inches using some cocoa brown cardstock. I then used my Doodlecharms cartridge to cut out he cute reindeer head, I had to adjust the sizing to the box so that was cut out at 4.25 inches. It was cut twice in different shades of brown. I then used some googly eyes, a twine box and a glitter holly button. I used my white gel pen for some details on the face as well as using my chalks to colour in some cheeks. I then filled the box with some Godiva treats (we had 2 leftover so Greg and I had a small treat each! : ). After that some Merry Christmas ribbon was used to tie around the box. My lovely husband assisted me with this and a tag was tied on. I am so thrilled with this, it's so cute!

Christmas box

I made this box a few weeks ago but finished it tonight but putting in the goodies. This is for my friend (won't say who). I made the box using my "Sweet tooth boxes" cartridge out of double sides christmas card and I decorated it using some trim. I made the tag using "Very Merry Tags" and decorated with trim. I picked up this very cute Christmas ribbon at Michaels as well as the little jingle bell and the holly sprig. I think it looks so Christmassy and I'm looking forward to sending it to her but she's not allowed to open it till Christmas!

Sweet House

I have been really looking forward to trying out my new cartridge "Sweet Tooth boxes", so today I gave it a try and I am really thrilled with how this cute little house turned out. I have made it for my friend Conny's birthday coming up an I know she will love it. It was all cut out using the cartridge and assembled and glued together. I decorated the flowers with some buttons and some extra flower stickers on the lawn. I then used my "Sweet Treats" carridge to cut out the Happy Birthday on top. I half finished it early this afternoon and then my lovely husband and I went for a walk and got the sweets go to go in it. I know Conny loves M & Ms so I got some fun packs of these and also a little box of M & M's cookies. I know I"m going to be looking forward to making another one really soon!
